About Raw Elementz

Established in 2001 by former Culture Shock dancer Kristin Liu, Raw Elementz is the oldest, student-run, Hip Hop dance group at Columbia University in the City of New York. We are known for our crowd-pleasing performances at both on and off-campus events including cultural festivals, athletic competitions, community service fundraisers, and our annual spring showcase, Rawcus 360º. We welcome people from any and all dance backgrounds and with any level of experience within the Columbia and Barnard student body to audition for Raw Elementz in either the fall or spring semester.
